Terrestrial Laser Scanning (TLS) is ground-based and provide high-resolution, accurate 3D data of structures, landscapes and any objects. They are often used to create detailed models of buildings, bridges and other infrastructure. The scan can be uploaded and processed in the proper survey or model coordinates, and a shared file can be loaded into modeling software, providing registration report.

The integration of laser scan in a project has a benefit in each phase of the project life cycle:

Before arriving to site 4ScanBuilt team will coordinate with the project team the scope of work and deliverable necessary for the area in study and survey coordinates on site, 2D CAD or 3D model. Construction project requirements: previous permissions of the equipment to use on site, general contractor orientation on site, analysis of hazardous conditions of work and time of collection, situations need to coordinate with other subcontractors to close the area during the time of scan.
